Human
nature...Is it?
Well. Many a times in life we snap, at
times terribly that we do not even believe it. We get criticism from both close
friends and family that we wish the world ceases to exist or it opens and
swallows us alive. We even start viewing ourselves as nonentities.
Ever heard of this saying that, when you
point a finger at someone, four point back at you? Or, remove the log in your
eye before removing a speck in your friends eye? When it comes to judging
others, we forget all this and start acting as the Mr. or Miss perfects. In
reality, there is no living thing that does not have flows. But, isn’t that
human nature?
Did we just judge Vera Sidika, Huddah
Monroe and the likes some time back? Were we really being honest with
ourselves? As much as they are viewed as a danger to our society, my opinion
is, that is their business and we need to learn to mind our own. After all,
everyone is responsible for his or her own actions. Or, is that not so?
The bible says in the book of Genesis
that God created us in His own image and likeness. That is to say, we are
likened to Him. Isn’t the almighty all -righteous? How can we be likened to Him
when we are so evil? We judge others when He is supposed to be the judge. We
hate on others yet He loved us so much that He sent His only begotten son to
die for our sins. Some things leave me nonplussed.
As we write other people’s books by
judging them, God is writing our own. Again, THAT IS HUMAN NATURE!
