SHOE
LOVERS
My love for shoes started when I was just a small
girl. My mum introduced me to floral wedge shoes that were then referred to as
blocks and I could balance so well in them that one would think I was born
wearing them.
Since then, my love for shoes keeps growing. I can
buy shoes each time I come across a beautiful pair and I don’t care whether
I’ll become broke after that. I am one type who believes that in my closet,
there should be all the colours of the rainbow so that I don’t go wrong with
dressing. Many would be satisfied with neutral colours but that is just not me.
I know there are many out there who love shoes just
like me but face financial constraints and therefore end up going for cheap
ones that only last them at most two months. I love mitumba shoes for one basic
reason. They are unique and it is therefore rare to find someone with a pair
like yours on the streets. With designer shoes, especially the imitations, you
will find almost everyone wearing them for they are cheap and therefore
affordable. The problem is most of them do not last. There are however designer
shoes that are expensive and chics who afford them are therefore accorded a
class, for this type of shoes are mostly seen with celebrities. There is a
secret for buying mitumba shoes though! Don’t buy them at night for you might
end up buying a green pair thinking it is black. Precisely the reason they are
sold at night.
Those who love shoes like me; do you know how to
care for them? Here is a secret for you to wear them for long. Always make sure
that you wipe them after use for dirt tends to discolor them. Don’t just insist
on wearing one pair every day. If you sure love those shoes, you will give them
a break. Don’t sock them in water for that tends to destroy them. Always walk
with a pair of sandals or flat shoes to avoid straining your precious heels.
Repair the damaged shoes so that you prevent the damage from escalating.
