I
am just a Girl
You see! I am just a girl. I laugh a lot
and cry a lot too. I love a lot and get hurt a lot too. I forget most often and
push doors that clearly indicate push. I love appreciating and being
appreciated. A girl I am!
Do you know at times I dress to make
other girls jealous? Because that is me. A girl! I create my own rules but I end up breaking
them. For instance, I can say to myself “Never again will I cry over a man.” OR
“I will never date again.” Do you know what happens after a month or three at
most? I meet a man in could I say creepy circumstances? I get convinced that it
is Gods’ doing and I fall in love. After a few months I get hurt. This cycle
continues until the point I start referring to men as dogs because of the
obvious reasons. But should I be blamed for being a girl?
Girls, we aren’t supposed to feel demoralized because being what we are is a common process that each lady went
through before they graduated with a Doctorate in girl affairs. Do you know
that lady you see today walk shoulder high with confidence also trusted so much
at one point and got hurt pretty bad? We therefore need to walk through this
girl stage with a lot of bravery so that when we finally decide to climb the
ladder to the lady level, we shall be glad girl happened to us and transformed
us into great ladies.
My deputy principal back in high school
would use phrases like “That is not lady like anyway!”, when we were up to
mischief. I finally comprehended what she meant. Being a lady is the greatest
thing that can ever happen to any girl. You know, setting the rules in the
field of dating and abiding by them, is just awesome. Ladies never tumble on
their principles as girls do. Girls allow men to walk on them for the shredded
belief that if they are ditched, they might never find someone to love them. Do
you know how fulfilling it is to finally realize your worth? Yeah! That is
exactly how being a lady feels. Ladies are taken seriously by men because they
are like gold. Rare to find yet so precious!
Are you feeling me ladies? Salute to you
for walking out of the girl stage bravely because as it stands, it is the
toughest stage in a woman’s life. In fact, a hustle! Hope when you finally
climb the woman ladder, you will be great wives and mothers.
Ouch! But I am just a girl!
